Advertising Terms
The full terms that govern a booked advertising placement.
Last updated: September 14, 2026
1. Scope
These advertising terms apply to every placement booked with Muskeg Signal: the Episode Shout-Out Spot, the Local Life Section Sponsorship and the Seasonal Partner Package.
2. Company details
Balla Media Incorporated (operating as Muskeg Signal) is the publisher of this site. Registered address: 7 West Avenue South, Hamilton, ON L8N 2R9. Phone: +1 905-572-7474. Email: [email protected]. Balla Media Incorporated operates muskegsignal.digital and is the controller of the personal data described below.
3. Booking
A booking is confirmed once you have paid the listed price and we have agreed a recording or publication window. Prices are as published on our Advertise page at the time of booking.
4. Creative deadlines
We ask for the message, dates and any material you want reflected at least a few business days before your recording or publication date, so there is time for a draft and your approval.
5. Approval
We send a script (for the Episode Shout-Out Spot) or a placement mock-up (for the section sponsorship or the seasonal package) for your sign-off before anything airs or publishes. One round of revision is included at no extra cost.
6. Make-goods
If a technical fault on our side causes a mention to be dropped or a section credit to run short of its agreed length, we will make it good with an equivalent replacement run rather than a refund, unless you would prefer a refund.
7. Editorial independence
Advertising never buys news coverage. A paid placement does not change how, or whether, we report a story about your business, and our editorial decisions are made separately from advertising sales.
8. Returnss
See Payment & refund policy and the full policy at refund-cancellation.html.
9. Governing law
These advertising terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the Province of Ontario.
10. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time; the date above shows the latest revision.
